I, Elena Starostina, invite you to the world of art.
Who am I?
Born in Moscow in 1980 My affinity for art became supported by my parents and grandparents at an early age. Regular Visits to the great Russian museums
and the three-year training at an art school for art have shaped me and for the Moscow Academy of Architecture and Applied Arts properly prepared.
During school time I have a school for Art painting, sculpture, art history and academic drawing times. In 1998 – 2003 I studied at the Moscow Academy for architecture and then as an architect for almost 20 years various projects planned and realized. Among other things, I have for an art and culture project for the Museum Heididorf (Maienfeld CH) as well as the parish center Maria-Hilf in Zurich my two passions, the art of painting and the and the architecture, combine. During my studies, I taught drawing and later directed an art studio in Moscow - I've always wanted to pass on something and share my enthusiasm for art. Even today I lead various courses in drawing, painting and bring children and Art closer to young people. On different occasions you will learn in doing so, their emotions and views on various topics on express your way and use your creativity.
Until now I have been in following training centers worked: as a drawing and HGU-Teacher at the Maria-Hilf in Zurich, as a teacher for painting in the center Laguna Multilingual in Bern and at the Wunderkind school in Thun. Furthermore, I am a member of the Bernapark, the solo exhibitions in the Cantons of Bern and Zurich. My paintings are in private collections in Germany, Russia, the USA and Switzerland.
I realize my own works as an artist in the studio as well as also outdoors. My landscape paintings are inspired by Moscow artist Baryshnikov and Bern artist Thomas Demarmels. Traveling, one of my great passions, brings me new ideas and broadens my horizons continuously. New Discoveries and experiences subsequently find expression in my Work. My works are characterized by intensity, the fleeting views light up. My main goal is to create
beauty through creativity close to us.
